Zoom Critical Update

Please be advised that there is a critical Zoom update that addresses the zero-day vulnerability for Mac users.  We recommend that all Zoom users update their Zoom software.

The update/patch will:

1. Remove the local web server entirely, once the Zoom client has been updated –  Zoom is stopping the use of a local web server on Mac devices. Once the patch is deployed, Mac users will be prompted in the Zoom user interface (UI) to update their client. Once the update is complete, the local web server will be completely removed on that device.

Zoom Licenses Updated to 300 Participants

Both Zoom Pro and Basic licenese now allow up to 300 participants in a meeting.  Please be aware that the 40 minute time limit on Basic accounts has not changed.

Managing Zoom Session Participants

Zoom sessions (Meetings and Webinars) are available to people with the session URL, and on rare occasion, unexpected participants may join a session. We have put together some techniques a session host can use to address unwanted participants.
