UCLA participates in two distinct Microsoft Volume Licensing Programs for departments. Microsoft Select-Plus and the Microsoft Consolidated Campus Agreement (MCCA) It is possible for a single department to utilize both licensing programs simultaneously.
Mathematica is a program of a comprehensive set of mathematical, scientific, engineering, and financial functions. Software Central provides annual departmental Mathematica licenses at a significant discount. Technical support is available via Software Central.
The agreement also provides licensees with a complementary home use license with a purchase of an office use license. Home use must be arranged separately directly from the Wolfram home use website.
Annual JMP licenses are available from Software Central at substantially reduced prices. Part of the SAS family of products, JMP dynamically links statistics with graphics to interactively explore, understand, and visualize data. Designed for anyone who wants to discover relationships and outliers in their data. The latest release adds advanced analytics like generalized regression, mixed-effects models, advanced consumer research analysis, reliability block diagrams and more.
UC has several IBM agreements; one for Services, Software and Hardware; one for Lotus products, and a negotiated price schedule for ESSO Enterprise Software and Services. These agreements allow customers to purchase licenses, disks, documentation, maintenance, and technical support separately or in any combination from an external reseller.
Licenses purchased under this agreement become a rider to the master, unless otherwise mutually agreed.
Google Apps for UCLA is a suite of hosted email and collaboration applications for schools, universities, and non-profit organizations. This suite of services includes Gmail (Google’s email service), Google Calendar, Google Docs (Google’s web-based office software suite), and more.

ITS (UCLA Information Techology Services ) has established a campus license for Cognos for use by UCLA affiliated persons to search the UCLA Campus Data Warehouse and run reports on the QDB.
