MATLAB, the language of technical computing, is a programming environment for algorithm development, data analysis, visualization, and numeric computation. Simulink is a graphical environment for simulation and Model-Based Design of multidomain dynamic and embedded systems. MathWorks produces nearly 100 additional products for specialized tasks such as data analysis and image processing.

We are excited to announce that a campuswide MATLAB software license agreement is now in place. All current students, faculty, and staff with an email address are now able to access MATLAB software, toolkits, and online training courses.

STUDENTS (Undergraduate and Graduate)
As of Fall Quarter 2019, students are now able to download MATLAB software for free.
1) If you purchased a MATLAB license between 09/23/2019-10/31/2019, please retain your receipt. Email for reimbursement instructions.
2) If you ordered a TRIAL version, please be sure to change over your trial license to the UCLA site-wide licenses before it expires. UCLA will not be able to reimburse you for charges due to missed cancellation.

MATLAB software is also available for faculty and staff, but details vary by unit. Please contact your local administrator regarding cost coverage before you download MATLAB.
